September 21st, 2015
Next Thursday, Oct. 1st, beginning at 1:50 p.m., our whole school will be participating in our annual Terry Fox run. Our focus will be on having an awareness of what Terry was attempting to do, our own health and physical fitness being a gift, and something we should be grateful for, and finally, how we at Central can use that gift to come together, work together, as a school and a community to complete a common goal! FINISHING THE RUN FOR TERRY!!!
We’d love if you would join us in this initiative. We encourage you, as families, to walk to school, go for walks in the evenings, participate in sports activities, walk the dog – anything that gets you out and about. Record your activity in your child’s planner, and we’ll combine that with our “kilometres covered” in the run/walk during the afternoon of the 30th. We will not be collecting donations at the school, but invite you to donate online using this secure link, which is connected to our school. https://secure.e2rm.com/registrant/TeamPage.aspx?EventID=166394&LangPref=en-CA&TeamID=592752
